Our Staff and Management

New Star was founded in 2001 by Jere Rudisill, Pat Rudisill and Tom Clark and represents a new generation of family businesses that have been located on the same property since 1969. Housed in the former Rhyne Floral Supply Manufacturing Co. complex, New Star is an outgrowth of the successful floral supply manufacturing and contract packaging business that occupied the site for more than 35 years.

Jere Rudisill, Managing Partner
Jere has over 20 years experience in manufacturing, packaging and distribution, and his core value of “customer first” permeates every aspect of operations at New Star.

Pat Rudisill, Partner
Pat grew up at her father’s side in the floral manufacturing business, and has a long career in marketing and advertising.

Tom Clark, Partner
Tom retired as a Managing Director for Morgan Stanley, and is Chairman of the Board of The Westchester Bank located in Yonkers NY.  Tom’s wealth of expertise in management and finance makes him a key part of the New Star management team.

Support Staff

The average tenure of the New Star permanent staff is six years - far above the industry standard. All are cross trained in a variety of tasks and understand the unique needs and requirements of every customer.

Cathy Cloninger, Warehouse Team Leader
Cathy has worked for New Star Marketing Support Services since its founding and has worked on site since 1985. She is responsible for managing the warehouse and taking special care of our customers’ inventory.

Tammy Stafford, Production Team Leader
Tammy is another long-tenured employee and specializes in getting things done the “Tammy” way: get it right, and get it done on time.

Brandie Henry, Customer Service Team Leader
Brandie is one of the newest members of the management team and specializes in getting answers and solving problems for our customers.
